Hope you won’t mind the noob question but how do I know what DNS I’m using? (I’m running Linux-Mint)
You can visit something like https://www.dnsleaktest.com or https://ipx.ac/run to see where your queries are routed.

This is how the new DNS entry is created. I think your old DNS service provider is listed under [resolve] so far.
In /etc/systemd/resolved.conf, add the following:
restart the systemd-resolved service new
