I didn’t even twig that it was a song honestly, but that makes sense. Thanks for the reply! No harm, no foul.

My comment was entirely meant as a jest because you have a silly username, I’m sorry that it came across as mean.
I was mainly just confused why you called my Caroline, when an actually silly joke like Bloody Norah would have made a lot more sense. Been waiting for someone to use that 🤭
Yeah, alright buttnugget.
Yeah, I was taught BOMDAS here in Australia.

I think this, as a statement, was meant to put me down. You also didn’t suggest an alternative until your second comment…
Have a good day though, and I hope you’re able to take this feedback to improve with communicating your needs in the future.

3·15 days agoMaybe we’re just operating on different definitions of “woman-aligned”. But also, I really don’t understand why you’re jumping down my throat about this rather than just having a productive dialogue. It’s put me on the defensive in a way that makes me uncomfortable, and like I shouldn’t try and make suggestions in good-faith.

3·15 days agoCPUs don’t usually have their own integrated ROM, as far as I can tell the Core Ultra chips don’t. Are you talking about the integrated Neural Processing Unit that those chips have? That’s not hard-coded AI, it’s merely the cores with which to run it on. Which are also more efficient for other Machine Learning tasks that are actually beneficial. The issue there would still be what OS you choose to run on it.
But hey, at least kernel level anti cheating will finally arrive and CS2 will be playable again 🤣
¿Que? Are you suggesting that anti-cheat would be integrated into the microcode? That seems a little absurd. It also would no longer be kernel level but instead some form of hardware level.

3·15 days agoNo, I mean that the rules are pretty clear about non-binary people being welcome if they believe a women’s community is a good fit for them. I interpreted that as “women-aligned” and I stand by that. It is a group for the discussion of things that affect or are related to those categories of people. So yes, naturally, if you don’t feel you are in those categories, you are being excluded. I don’t understand why that’s offensive to you, and as a trans femme non-binary person I resent the implication that I am labelling myself “woman-lite”.

32·15 days agoThe one suggestion I would perhaps make, not really relevant to this specific poster, is that the mods might be better off saying “women or women-aligned people”. The mods clearly do their homework, but it’s still possible a woman-aligned non-binary person might get this message, not check the rules and end up excluded.

3·15 days agoWeird, and kind of gross, that BBC included something that wasn’t in the article in the link preview. Would you be able to edit your post? It doesn’t seem fair to Sharpe to attribute it to her.

3·15 days agoThe article doesn’t include a quote from Sharpe using the terminology biological women, so I’m not sure why you’ve chosen that wording in your post body. She says at one point “If they don’t want to ride with all women, then it’s not the kind of ride I want to be part of”.

You could say this about literally every Chinese owned company. Eliminate all Chinese and all American companies and there’s not a lot of goods left you could purchase. Even less when it comes to goods made for other companies in China by Chinese firms.
