It has battery for ~10min so no dips. Also it can be powered by ~5 bikes and 3 are just “spare” or for changing riders.
I don’t know all the specifics about it but unintuitively the most power hungry are the speakers so maybe the sound cut off?

I got to enjoy this masterpiece in the CycloCinema. ;-)
Probably one of the best movies they could show there.

Raspberry pi with Android TV?
At least the final assembly is done in UK.

I think that at this point they are more of a zombie company than anything else.
Nothing inovative or revolutionary and overpriced for normal people. Even professional teams don’t use their components. Only some posh people stuck with them just for the brand name and their business isn’t set up for it.
I would guess that it may already started to deflate a bit. The truth is that it will pop when the loans won’t be paid off so investors and banks starts to backtrack.
I am not worried about Nvidia but cloud providers. The datacenters built to support ai won’t have much use when the customers (OpenAI…) will fold.
I don’t care about what happens with OpenAI and other AI startups they probably don’t survive. Google, Microsoft, Meta… have enough money to lose so it will be bad for them but they will survive it. Hardware manufacturers see the writing on the wall and try to milk the bubble till it lasts so if they play it decently it won’t be big issue for them - they are probably the winners in this race whatever happens.

Most of the ones run here don’t have batteries. It is running on wires only - with battery trolley bus you need bit different wires so you can put the “antenna” up and down when needed. And since the network was built in 50s it didn’t made sense to buy the partial ones until few years ago.

But I get the appeal of the ebus it just sounds cheaper. One city I won’t name started to build trolley bus network again after they got rid of it in 70’s (because of metro construction and expansion of trams), but they just doing it bit idiotically by wanting to have like 30% of it on wires and rest run on batteries.
Why? Because the infrastructure is just more expensive upfront.
Will it work? Nobody knows, people that are building it lobby to get it up to at least 50/50 then it is maybe just feasible.
I think that roads and buses have place in the transportation but you just need more options not just that.

I am for electrification but I just can’t get behind electric buses.
My city made some study last year and the best way forward in terms of public transport is expansion of trolley bus network. With batteries and constant use it just doesn’t make much economic sense. If you can build the wiring it is much better in long run. You don’t have to have 100% coverage, 70+% is enough for partial battery powered trolley bus, then it starts to be economically feasible in the operating cost sense.
Also they will need to build some kind of metro system - probably as an extension of commuter trains.

If you don’t know this show its worth watching it!
The scene from S3 E3 I refer to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WgUktfdDy4
Just if anyone wants to watch it, it was filmed ~8years before the previous clip I put here.

First I read it as Polymorph and imagined Worf in grey t-shirt “Give quiche a chance” and pipe in his hand ;-)
But this crossover was there already

Thanks, much better than trying to piece it together from video!
I wanted to make it again but didn’t got to it, I think I wanted to cut the sugar a bit it was too sweet for me. Also I wanted to try some different beers to see how it impacts the taste.

I tried making butter beer, which is real thing that was sometimes made, but it probably isn’t what you think.
It is more of hot wine style drink. I think someone made yt video that I used as instructions. Yes it is less alcoholic because you heat the beer (which is the base of the drink) and mix in sugar, butter and some other stuff I don’t remember.
I think that it was quite good and could be made in 20min, really good for the colder evenings. I would suggest some neutral tasting beer as a base, I used some store bought lager if I remember correctly - most of the taste is from the other stuff there.

What about some spreadsheet where everyone can add time/date and game that he wants to play.
Than everyone can see the options and vote/add themselves to the event he wants to go. Than you can send group emails with information and calendar event file.
I think that something like this can be put together with nextcloud and email bot.

Non lethal munitions/weapons are not so non lethal as people think.
Crowd control or demonstration control is another complex problem that can’t be solved by some magic bullet. It is more psychology game when the police tries to look threatening in place where people can easily overpower them.

I bought the cheapest screw in bar plugs I could find, I think it was worth the 2€ investment.
But ngl I really appreciate good janky solutions.

I meant this bit from Big Bang Theory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0oiZCdvyFQ

I would like non alcoholic Cuba libre … light.
Much better than what I managed to do when I was 15yo. I still use the A5 notebook with replaceable pages.

I know about people that do this. The final product tends to be bit smoother and according to them the fermentation is bit faster. Some distillers get rid of them right before it goes to the still but it really depends on the fruit.
I did only cherry distillation and it is not possible to pit all of them so I didn’t bother. Also I don’t drink that much of it so 4l lasted me 5years and I still have it, I just don’t do it that often.
No it was in Switzerland, Pedaleo bikepacking festival this summer.
I think the guys with the projection setup were from Spain.
