It’s entirely possible reading stuff you can’t relate to is how you come to be able to relate to it.

People are more than their gender, we can relate to each other on some many levels, so many ways, and we’re missing out on human connections of all kinds if that’s limited.

I think part of the reason it seems everyone is struggling is because of two reasons.

One, lots of people are struggling. Two, no one wants to hear from the few who aren’t.

The environmental impacts are real and substantial, though still on the same scale as video streaming which didn’t get the same reaction, so that’s not the whole story.

And both are dwarfed by the meat industry. Be fair to become vegetarian and continue using AI a bit.

Well, geology will take care of some of that over the next few million years.

I just had AI rewrite two pages of text from 1st person to 3rd person to use in different marketing material.

I had AI reformat text I’d pulled from a PDF that had weird line breaks.

In both cases, it wasn’t doing any “writing” but the end result was AI assisted.

Its a glorified spellchecker, treat it like one.
