The only thing local llms which regular PCs can run are capable of is generating basic boilerplate code. Which you only need to do if you create a new project every day and need to automate it. They are useless for working on established codebase.

Usually it happens because there were multiple instances of such changes breaking stuff. Then QA team starts asking questions why are we breaking what’s not broke. Also QA team works on Jira tickets, so if the change is not associated with relevant bug/feature then they won’t know what needs to be tested and such breakage gets discovered too late.

Devs can’t create tickets themselves either. Sneaking it with your “official” work is the only way.

You would need an unlocked bootloader and a custom ROM for that. I suspect that completely disabling google services on stock ROM is either not possible or will brick your device.

GPLv3 software can’t be used on locked down hardware, you must provide a way to modify and replace the binaries. Maybe they want to sell Ubuntu for embedded/automotive use cases.

I liked the first game a bit more from story/characters perspective. It has more heart, even though it goes overboard with the satire (but that has its own charm too). Second game has much better gameplay (though changes are still rather incremental) and interesting factions. Planets/areas are better designed too, though still far from what other games have (exploration aspect was the weakest part of TOW1 and the second game is only somewhat better). But the main story and characters are not as good as in the first one.
