As is often the case in France, it’s complicated.
Basic paid leave for a CDI/cadre (full time employee) is 25 business days.
On top of that there is RTT. This is because we have a 35 hour work week. In order to do the more typical 40 week, you get those hours back as more paid leave - 10 days.
On top of that there national holidays, of which there are plenty. Most of these revolve around food from what I can tell (I’m a Brit, I just live in France). If those national holidays fall on a weekend, you lose them though, which sucks, but even a bad year is pretty good.

Shocking
Here in France I have 35 (not including national holidays).

JW (nor Mormons) are considered Christian.

Wasn’t A.C. Slater a wrestling champion? It’s a tenuous link, but stil a link

As an actual bible believing Christian, I would like to officially distance myself from all this nonsense.

We went from a 2008 Renault to a 2018 BMW. Every time we drive at night I am blown away by the lights. Absolutely brilliant, but basically none of it goes into on-coming traffic.
Massive generalisation, but for the Bordeaulais nothing can match Bordeaux.

Possibly, but their argument was that the risk of getting the disease was small, but the vaccine was guaranteed. They grew up there, so I would think they know the subject better than me.

To be fair I have known perfectly reasonable people choose the risk of malaria over taking that vaccine. Don’t know if they have changed it since I was a kid, but that vaccine was guaranteed to make you feel awful.
Now it has become a way for people to blow their own trumpet.
Unless they are Breton
That would be more like “bo------r, (nods vaguely toward the croissants)” the “s’il vous plaît” is implied, but definitely there somewhere. The “merci” will be a slight nod backwards.
True, but so do the Bordeaulais
Source: wife is parisien, but her family are al Bordeaulais

Or the office version
Whatever
He didn’t manage to get one on a frickin’ shark’s head though did he!

Seth MacFarlane is a huge Trekkie and The Orville is him paying homage

3 weeks ago I could get diesel at €1.60/l.
Now it is over €2 per litre and I am in the weird situation today I cannot fill my tank from empty because the bank does not pre-authorise enough. So fuel prices have absolutely gone up, at least to consumers in rural France, which is all I personally care about.
