I’m going to need a source on the fat ass part. I cycled for years when I was younger and I certainly have glutes of steel, but they’re not big. I do however find myself very much attracted to a big ass on the opposite sex so if that’s true in any way shape or form, I should start cycling to meet more women who cycle perhaps lol

  • 10% of the US is millionaires and wealth is quite segregated by location so depending on where you grow up or live, it’s entirely possible to mostly only know rich people while most of the country lives paycheck to paycheck and a large amount of people can’t afford healthcare. It’s inequality again, yay

Just mentioning this because the thread itself and the person you responded about referred to the US. Not actually American myself.

  • Interestingly enough, I’ve once been told it was bad that I said merry Christmas.

Context: I’m from a fairly irreligious country. Christmas has nothing to do with religion for me because our ancestors celebrated it long before the crusade and in our language it has nothing to do with Christ, we call it jõulud.

Anyway, my dad had a business in the US but his English was poor enough that when I was like 12 or 13, he asked me to send some emails to his clients for him. I did. This was in December. Next time he called, he said some client was furious because I either started or ended the email with Merry Christmas aaaand apparently it went to a Jewish family. Which I guess he knew beforehand but I did not and the didn’t know the email was from me, not him.

This would’ve been like late 00s.

  • Most cars don’t show that. Here’s the fuel gauge from my backup car since my other car is in the middle of repairs

Not only do you have to know the size of the tank, you also have to account for fuel tank math being different from regular math. The needle isn’t linear. E.g in a lot of cars it doesn’t start dropping until you’re down at least like 5 liters. That’s because people start whining about fuel consumption otherwise (“I just filled up and it’s already dropping”) and similarly the last half or quarter seems to be bigger in some cars. Middle bit is worth the least.

I don’t think I’ve seen a car that actually shows the liters. Maybe once or twice. I’ve owned like 10 or 15 cars and driven many more.

  • In Estonia two chains make you choose at the pump if you’re paying inside after pumping or on the machine before. One switches over automatically when the shop part closes and doesn’t even let you choose when it’s open. Others are pay-first.

And nobody needs to see you here, they have cctv anyway

  • It is labeling them properly though? In the US it’s called Lake America which is now the official American name for it. In the rest of the world it’s named Lake Ontario.

Thing is, it’s not unusual for bodies of water to have different names depending on where you’re from. What we call Läänemeri (Western Sea), the Germans call Ostsee (Eastern Sea). You likely know it as the Baltic Sea.

TBoGT was Luis, who was pretty much what VI’s male protag (Jason?) should’ve been. He actually had a personality other than just being the big badass guy.

I suspect the reason they haven’t had female protagonists before is just pure male defaultism rampant in the gaming industry. Gamers would’ve made a ton of noise in the past. Otherwise, a game with Catalina as the protagonist could’ve been really interesting.
