The part on the left is the mixing valve, you attach it to the output of your hot water heater. The part on the right is just a basic T junction you out on the inlet to the hot water heater so you have a source of cold water for the mixing valve.

Go back and read the first two sentences of my original comment. You are confusing what you want me to be saying with what I am actually saying.

The mixing valve mixs in cold water to the hot water coming out to bring the temp down to where you choose. 140 water never leaves the valve, which is mounted on the exit from the hot water heater. The design is super simple, so failure is very unlikely. But it is designed to fail to full cold.

This is why the rich don’t understand how the poor “can’t work”. They have kids yo. And lower end jobs oftenhave very strict hours. But the upper end jobs have lots of flexibility. And the rich of course just don’t volunteer at their kids school, or they have a parent home with the kids to do all those things.

I get the point and idea behind the existence of the “most people understand…” argument. A hot dog isn’t actually made from dog. But when it comes to truth vs lies… if you aren’t an entertainer, you just shouldn’t be allowed to lie. And if you are an entertainer, it needs to be beyond obvious in you marketing and such that you are an entertainer. If you channel is called anything news, you are not an entertainer. Google search can be entertaining, but almost no one would say it is entertainment. So there is just no justification for it lieing with impunity.

I did forget that he will eat some burrito/taco and quesedilla. But no spicey. He doesn want much more than meat, cheese, and sour creme. Sometimes he will eat terriaky chicken cut into small cubes in the form of a burrito. And sometimes he will eat plain rice, or plain pasta.
The fact is, he has eaten most things at least once with no issue. But then won’t eat them again for no obvious reason. I think it is less about a problem with the specific food, and just that he has some flavor or texture in mind any given day, and he will only eat that. There are very few things he will eat consistently.

I want to hold them accountable for the bigger crimes, not try to pin difficult to prove minor crimes on them. Not sure how that is making excuses. It called being objective, and realistic.

This is for highschool sports. The state can’t regulate the club sports like you are referring to so easily (if at all). Their aren’t team doctors. The doctor should be the childs personal doctor chosen by the parents in this case.

I dunno, my limited sample size says the boomers were raised by parents who lived through WWII, so they were raised frugal. Save as much as you can types. Then yes, things were eventually good… the 70’s had high inflation I think. So now they hold on to whaterevr they have. But yeah, can’t say I would have done better.

I’m no boomer, but I know how they feel. Who can tell when the next crash will hit, and mega inflation will strike. There is just no real way to know you have enough saved. Unless you are like elon or such. And gieven all that. People are holding on to their money because they may have to help keep their kids afloat. It isn’t the boomers making the problem, it’s the mega rich scraping every dime they can put of the hands of everyone they can so that they can be secure in their wealth. The bokmers are just a biproduct of that brainwashing.

They have a thing I think is called a water mixing valve. You crank your tank way up. The valve mixes cold and super hot water to what would be normal hot water. This makes the hot water tank last a lot longer. We have one, and both kids can take showers/baths at the same time. And I can shower after and still have hot water. The overall flow and pressure of course is still not enough to run more than two shower heads at the same time without noticing. But that’s a different issue.

While the law itself is a significant overreach and such. The article is really blowing it out of proportion. Doctors check a kids genitals at their yearly checkup until puberty at least. So thisnis just a simple doc signing off on something they have already done in the past. There will be exceptions of kids who moved or have a new doctor since puberty or something. But they already have to get a medical release usually to play sports anyway. So they will have a new doctor who will have undoubtedly done a general physical anyway. The ones who this really effects is the poor. The ones who don’t have a regulat doctor. Who is going to be doing their medical release… I don’t know. But it should at least be a doctor I believe.
Not that doctor’s are garunteed safe or anything. But in most cases they were at least vetted by the parents and not some random schmuck showing up at games checking girls crotchs.
