There is a failure of democracy here, if both the current pm and the prospective new pm treat the supreme court result as something they have to “implement” democracy has failed.
They can (must!) set the law, yes its difficult for labour, but to be able to shrug it off as not their job and have the entire press nod along is a direct failure.
You dont even need to agree, or care, who is right to see this is a real democratic problem.

2·19 days agoFixed hardware for devs to target for games is great, thats the advantage of consoles.
Honestly one of the xbox problems is theyve fragmented “xbox” so much you have to start caring which one you have for different games. Huge mistake.
I think theres an argument here for making consoles better at other computing stuff to be more relevant.
Not sure they can market that effectively tho even if it might help overall.
The siuation for the rest of the world is the same either way.
China (and allies eg. Russia) get chips and the rest of the world (eg. Ukraine) have to live whith whatever taiwanese refugees can ramp up over decades in which country they decide is safe enough to flee to

Seeing as theres no complete answer here ill give it a go.

A bunch of racists have been using cherry picker lorries and metal hoops to put them all over the place on lamp posts.
Fulfilling the nationalist symbolism a little too precisely these flags that have survived since being first put up are now worn out rags only fit for the bin.
Perhaps these people with so much pride in their country will go out and buy new clean ones and put those up. But they might find, as councils have, that vandalising hundreds of lamp posts with tight metal rings is an absolute nightmare to clean up after.
The country looks like crap. Well done dickheads.
