As someone who has started rewriting an old Summer Camp Island fanfiction I started around 2019 and never got very far with, I’m gonna have to say concentration and not getting writers block as the combo that would be the holy grail IMO. I’m sure a lot of writers in general could probably agree with that.
I definitely wanna get back into fanfic writing to a degree, but concentration and writers block have been my enemy.
Under just about any situation I am perfectly okay with change, but a few weeks back, we planned a bunch of meals for maybe 1½-2 weeks. Throughout that we kept changing when we’d have meals and even didn’t have a few of them. For some reason that made me stressed for pretty much no reason that I could think of.
By no means am I a south park fan, but the whole thing of Trump and his sycophants trying to dismiss the show as irrelevant is absolute bullshit. A show that can make a full episode about recent events in a day, if they wanted, is not irrelevant.
Ain’t no way a show that has pretty much kept on top of making fun of current events in a very crude way could ever be irrelevant. Otherwise it would have been cancelled 20 years ago. Trump just has high self-esteem issues and cannot stand it when people don’t treat him like he’s a god.
Specifically for older titles, I’d definitely say a game like, if anyone could find the original first version to ever be released of the game and not one of the many rip-offs/clones, Tetris. It’s probably, as far as I’m aware, the most copied/cloned/ripped-off game in existence.
As for newer titles ( 2000 onwards ), I can’t think of any that I think should 100% be in museum. Most of the titles I can think of aren’t good enough, in my opinion, to go into a museum. I’m not an expert on judging what should go into a museum, but I couldn’t think of a single title that would fit in any exhibit.

Tetris is already in the video game hall of fame. Should have figured. Definitely deserves its place there. Even so, someone with a floppy of the original or clone of the floppy or digital backup should definitely see if there are any museums willing to take a copy because the original is something I think would be a shame to completely lose.

I am 100% pumped to see where this goes. I don’t care if they do what they always do with 99% of the villains and completely cop out on their ideals at the end, I just wanna see post apocalyptic Avatar.
I don’t have many disc based PC games anymore. Last I played one was less than a month ago ( don’t know exactly how long ago ) and it was Luxor. I have a few others on disc, but I either don’t have them installed or haven’t played them in a while.
Not including Luxor because I already listed it, I also currently have Super Collapse, Morrowind and Oblivion ( both with expansions ), Brok The Investigator ( have it on Steam so I don’t play the disk version or use the official collectors edition USB containing an installer either ), Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 and one of the expansions, some Dosney rollercoaster builder game that is pretty bad, and a normal blackjack game.
As for my absolute favorite, that’s the easiest question ever: Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum.
I also have another one that I loved that I cannot remember or find basically anything about it anywhere in the web because it was probably some demo to a full game that wasn’t out or didn’t release. The whole thing was a mini-golf like hole where it starts you off in front of a drive-in movie theater with cars parked parallel to the screen, like they’re parking in a parking lot at a grocers. You had to hit the ball up a ramp and into the screen, which was showing a black and white swamp film. You’d be sent into the movie and had to put around the water to get to the hole. Camera wouldn’t move unless you entered a different area. Anybody know literally anything about that?

I mean, isn’t that just GOG though? At least for the majority of the titles they sell?
To see all Oaken Tower players have their computer mice overheat when playing that game. To the point where an hour of playing it would make their mice unusable.

I know this is more of a serious thing, but I was thinking that I kinda hope these payment processors try to ban some big European company over some puritanical bullshit and then Europe responds with threatening a complete ban on them to put them in line. Ain’t no way any payment processor would ever risk being banned in one of the largest markets in the world.

Hell, if extwitter gets banned, it’d be hilarious because then there would probably be laws changed to ensure only the government can select what gets banned. Though, not so hilarious in the current state of the world.
Not gonna lie, the way €lon is looking above the holo-menu thing, to me, really makes the image soulless. Hell, you could replace him with anyone and I’d say it looks just as soulless if they ain’t looking at that menu thing.
I’d say that’s more than controversial. It’s inhumane and should be outlawed worldwide. That’s more closer to Japanese “work yourself to death” kinda work culture than anything else. There’s a reason, from what I understand, that basically nobody, besides the bosses implementing this kinda policy, likes it.
That’s some real good odds if you ask me.
Anytime I see a conservative group like them, regardless of country of origin, try to take the moral high ground on anything sexual related, I immediately assume there’s a 500% chance they’re trying to get the exact same thing they do in private banned for everyone else.
For now, based on an initial reading, definitely support Italy in this one.

Out of the options they provided, I haven’t used packet or gsconnect, but the others I have had many problems with. I’m convinced my ISP absolutely hates these programs because I’ve pretty much never had any luck with using them to send stuff to and from my phone.
Hell, I consider it a miracle that I can even connect my laptop and desktop using Synchthing. Though that’s the one I have had the most success with in the past, so I’m not that surprised.
