In Georgia the reasoning was the signatures should have been for the electors rather than the candidates, which would mean anyone signing would have to do so 16 times
Jesus Fucking Christ that sounds petty af
For once it’s good there’s a Republican secretary of state I think because it’s going to him for the final word
Democracy!
MANAGED DEMOCRACY, JUST LIKE IN THE HELLDIVERINOS
EDIT: Added a clearer reference.
I’m afraid you have terminal post ironic treat brain
I do?
Apart from sarcastic statements, I go out of my way to be sincere.
That was less intended as a criticism of Helldivers than it was a reference to Managed Democracy on Super Earth and all that.
Hahaha I don’t know exactly what I meant by it. I’m not trying to get into beef or anything, I am just often amused (and in agreement with) your anti-treat agenda… But then the other day I was like wait… Why does he know all the treat references??!
I’m in a somewhat similar boat. Although I will NEVER watch gambo.
The annoying part with g*mers is less often the media itself and more so the willful misunderstanding of it
The worst part about video games is their fandoms, usually.
Helldivers 2 tried very hard to make it clear that Super Earth is not actually a great place and Managed Democracy is coming apart in the background.
Unlike Verhoeven’s self-admitted failure to make his satire clear to most Burgerlanders in the Starship Troopers movie, Helldivers 2 mostly succeeded in the message reaching all but the most 40k-brained fascists. Or they knew what the writers were going for but want that crumbling space fascism anyway.
