One thing that got me about the movie was how much of a pattern the non patterned moving was. Might work better if they were immitating some natural pattern the worms don’t care about.
right? like what is sticking your foot out and sweeping it to the side supposed to do?
I was thinking they should have had the actors wear earpieces and have it say step at random intervals or something.
the point is to mimic the natural sounds of the desert. they should have some sort of walking technique that makes the same sound as the wind. another that makes the same sound as a rock rolling down a hill.
ok see that makes more sense. so it is a pattern but the idea its specific changing patterns that don’t imitate tastey food patterns.
I mean you would have to imitate the sounds of the desert. what other option would you have? if the worms started hearing an unknown sound, they’re going to go straight for that shit.
like, they’ll cross territorial boundaries just to take out a shield generator. I don’t think they think the shield generator is tasty
