My grandpa passed away recently. Im not looking for any sympathy, we had very large differences of opinion, and he was a miserable old bastard.
I just saw this photo of his, going thru some of his personal stuff. I had to post this. Hateful old fuck or not, he was pretty photogenic.
Anyway, rest in piss old man.

I appreciate the concern but the odds of being doxxed off a single photograph from the early 1980s, of which i own the sole one in existence, are slim enough that its almost not worth thinking about.

He gave off that impression my entire life. Real Ron Burgundy type. English Leather cologne, jazz music. Vain.
That was his word processor behind him. No family photos as of yet, but lots of photos of him and his things. His closet full of suits, his kitchen cabinetry, other shit that vain men treasure. He was a photography guy, and had a darkroom setup. There is some debate he is the one who took this photo.
Still rules to take a self-portrait where you look like a tech company executive in a computer advertisement. It’s amazing how much looking good in photos makes you seem important.

Didnt even do anyone the last favor of a good spread. died alone in his apartment. Apparently someone lost a dog in the complex and posted flyers on doors. After some time his door was the only one with a flyer still on it, and unchecked mail in his mailbox. Welfare check found him dead on floor. 2 weeks is estimate.
No funeral. No service. Exactly what the old fuck wanted, but nobody in the family wanted anything to do with him anyway. Cremated. He got scattered on the side of the roadway on the return trip home l, somewhere in Colorado.
