If you know that the future is nuclear, there is no incentive not to install solar and batteries already (the only question is when, not whether or not)
Because nuclear without battery backing is still totally centralized, so power will still be unreliable after storms in rural areas
It will also still be expensive.
If nuclear didn’t take 10 years to build and could be done in a year, it would stand a chance. But, as it stands, with nuclear, you’d still need gas too anyway. It’s stupid and solves nothing
