I’m using the Herborizer tonight, which is probably my favorite desktop vape that I own. I didn’t get into the whole ball vape craze very much because the Herborizer is just such a pleasant experience and a heavy hitter in its own right. This is probably the vape that I use the most often; I love the design, the vapor signature, and the overall experience of using it.

    I’m out of live resin but I would be using a YoCan Evolve Plus. Cheap lil guy that I bought a few weeks ago. Performs great so far.

    Thanks for sharing your herborizer! Looks and sounds like a beast of a vape. I would love to try one sometime. I have similar feelings to ball vapes they seem like a bit of a fire hazard and i found a way to mod balls into my own desktop which im super happy with.

    Ive been terp chasing with the wand induction heater + helix dynavap lately. I love watching the vapor spin in a vortex as it goes through the glass stem. The flavors and dense clouds I get out of one half tip hit is unreal.

    My technique is turning the IH on and pulling as it heats up, wait for flavor/visible vapor to start swhirling in the glass, turn off the IH and let it cool down as I hit. Repeat that process to get 3-4 satisfying hits.

    That mouthpiece came from a nectar collector. its airflow is PERFECT for this device.

      I tried a handful of the DIY ball vape options, and I still have (and use regularly) a HLT/Highlighter from RedEyeFlightControl.

      While performance of ball vapes is definitely high, I just have found I don’t really enjoy them all too much (with the HLT being the exception). I also think that the proliferation of ball vapes has made the vape industry feel dull and boring, as every ball vape design is almost exactly the same as every other one.

      Compare that to the Herborizer, which really does its own thing design wise. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the Herborizer design both aesthetically and functionally. Does the Herborizer extract as fast as insert-desktop-ball-vape-here? No, definitely not. But I enjoy the process of using the Herborizer far more.
