Man, I’d hate to work for the Onion these days. Reality is catching up to satire so quickly I’m pretty sure there’s a bunch of people going “yeah, that sounds like something he’d do” and think nothing further of it.
That’s why you got to flip the script. “Trump calls immigrants ‘good people’ in mostly coherent speech” sounds absurd in our current reality but also calls him out.
That would actually be good parody yes. Surprising nobody jumped on that yet.
i’m starting to think “deportation” is a euphemism for mass murder…
It was more like a soft-start for the Nazis. They proposed deportation (“The Madagascar Plan”) first and then pivoted to the “Final Solution” when deportation was deemed too expensive.
fuck, you’re right… they amount of nazi parallels and closeness of this election is giving me this feeling of constant panic and despair…
